Locally owned and operated, Island Driving Academy LLC is in the heart of downtown Rock Hill and offers driving courses for teens and adults in the York County and surrounding area. Our mission is to make driving a breeze by providing a course that is simplified and easy to understand, yet thorough and precise. Because the company is enthusiastic and committed to the student driver’s success, teaching strategies will fit both the student(s) and the driving material.
Recognizing that different students learn in different ways; all learning styles will be incorporated throughout the course. The student(s) will be taught the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for vehicle safety both as a driver and pedestrian. This goal will be achieved by means of adequate preparation, setting of clear and fair expectations, a positive attitude, patience with the students, and access to the learning material/resources outside of the classroom.
